A McLaren SLR, a Ducati 998s and again a SLR :) scale 1/12 and 1/64

Hello modelcar collectors and diecast/toy fans :) This time I set up a SLR McLaren, a Ducati 998s bike and again a SLR McLaren, but in smaller scale. So, the scale for the "big boys" is 1/12 and yes, they are both pretty huge, and the smaller SLR belongs to 1/64 scale. This was just something I wanted to show, because I like all scales and I find it interesting to put different scale models side by side... will have to do a whole line up... one day heeeh :)

Interesting info: SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing). The last of the SLR coupes rolled off the production line at the end of 2007 and the roadster version is due to be discontinued in 2009. Ahh, to bad... but this is how it is, life, production, everything goes on -> so does this BLOG :)

Take care

It's not a Mercedes guys :) but hey...

This time It's not a classic Mercedes car, but a classic Ferrari. Presenting a Ferrari 288 GTO from 1984 year. Scale is 1/18 and manufacturer is Bburago, beside the Ferrari, you can spot a black Honda CBR 600 RR again form Bburago in 1/18 scale. Honda is from Bburagos CYCLE collezione. Here are two "artistic" photos:

Did you know that Ferrari 288 GTO had a top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph), making it the first street-legal production car to reach 300 km/h. Top speed of Honda CBR 600 RR is approaching 284 km/h (170mph)!
